Glenn C. Moen, 82, Fargo, ND, died Thursday, May 31, 2018, in Sanford Medical Center,
Fargo.

Glenn Curtis Moen, the son of Gilmer and Clara (Nygaard) Moen was born on August 4, 1935, in Caledonia, ND, where he grew up and received his education.

In 1957, he entered the US Army, where he served for two years. Following his service, he was trained as an electrician. In 1968, he moved to Fargo, where he worked for several electrical companies, and participated in several large construction projects. He retired after 39 years of service.

On August 17, 2003, Glenn married Fern Skare Steen. They made their home in Fargo, where they were faithful members of Peace Lutheran Church and the Sons of Norway. Glenn enjoyed collecting model cars. His wife, Fern, died in 2009. Glenn continued to live in Fargo.

Glenn was also preceded in death by his parents; and by a brother, Clyde, who died in 2008.

He is survived by a sister-in-law, Jovonne Moen, Cape Coral, FL; a niece, Stacy (Rick) Means, Cape Coral; nephews, Dirk and Todd Moen, both Cape Coral; step-sons, Sheldon (Renee) Steen, Casselton, ND, and Craig (Patty) Steen, Halstad, MN; and a special friend, Dolores Normandin.

Funeral Service for Glenn will be Thursday, June 7, 2018, at 11 AM in Peace Lutheran Church, Fargo. Visitation will be the hour prior to the funeral, at the church.

Burial will be in Caledonia Cemetery, Caledonia.
