Our mother Grace C. Wolsky, 72, Moorhead, MN, passed away on February 12, 2005, at her home in Sharp View, Moorhead, under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley.
Grace Carmen Olsen, the daughter of George and Cora (Peterson) Olsen was born March 3, 1932, in Benson, MN.
A wonderful person and loved by many, she shared the gift of grace with whomever she met.
Her journey began on a farm in Rustad, MN, with her older sister Monna Lou and younger brother Georgie. After graduating from Comstock (MN) High School, she went to work at Northwestern Bell Telephone Co. in Fargo, ND.
Grace was united in marriage to Wesley Wolsky, from Nome, ND, in Rustad, MN, in 1953. They raised three children - James, Jon, and Michelle. After her divorce , she moved to Moorhead in 1975, where she worked for Moorhead State University, for several years. For 21 years, she worked for St. John's Hospital, Fargo.
Grace has been an active member of various organizations, through The Lutheran Church of Christ the King, Moorhead, including BeFrienders.
Those that she has left and miss her dearly are her daughter, Michelle (Fritz) Baehr, of Mars, PA, and two sons, James (Carla) Wolsky, Harwood, ND, and Jon (Debbie) Wolsky, Jamestown, NY; her sister, Monna Lou (Donovan) Leach, Glyndon, MN; her aunt, Laura
VISITATION: Monday, February 14, 2005 - 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead.
FUNERAL SERVICE: Tuesday, February 15, 2005 - 1:00 PM in The Lutheran Church of Christ the King, Moorhead.
INTERMENT: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fargo.
