Grace Lammers

Grace Lammers, 91, passed away at Eventide on Eighth, Moorhead, MN, on Tuesday, April 17, 2018.
Born at home on May 25, 1926, near Rollag, MN, to Roy & Allie Erickson. Grace went to a little country school and attended Barnesville (MN) High School in 1940. She was homecoming queen in 1943. After graduating, Grace worked as a bookkeeper for the Goldberg Elevator in Moorhead. During that time, she met Clarence and in February of 1947 they were married and moved to the farm by Sabin, MN, in the spring. Grace worked as a bookkeeper at the FM Hotel in Moorhead and the Kragnes Elevator in Sabin. She also drove school bus for 25 years.
Grace's biggest joy was her family. She enjoyed spending countless hours with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Whether that be at the lake, playing cards, making rosettes, baking zucchini bread or making angel food cake with her homemade frosting for birthdays. She also enjoyed her many friends and was always glad to see you.
She is survived by her children, Darrell (Carol), Moorhead, Barbara Mikkelsen, Sabin, and Curtis (Linda), Sabin; a son-in-law, David (Linda) Kuehl, Felton, MN; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grand-children; brothers, Roy and Wayne (Phyllis) Erickson; a sister, Audrey Lunder; sisters-in-law, Lila Erickson and Lorraine Edwards; and many nieces and nephews.
Grace was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence; a daughter, Beverly Kuehl; son-in-law, Bill Mikkelsen; and a brother, Robert Erickson.
Visitation for Grace will be Friday, April 20, 2018, from 1 PM until 2 PM, in Trinity Lutheran Church, Sabin, followed by her funeral at 2 PM.
