Greg L. Carlson, 56, Fargo, ND, died Friday, March 23, 2012, at his home with family at his side.
Gregory Lee Carlson was born November 1, 1955, in Minneapolis, MN, to Victor and Josephine (Bourcy) Carlson. He was raised in Horace, ND, and he attended the Harbor School in Moorhead, MN. Greg moved to Friendship Village, Fargo until his move to Fraser Group Home. He also worked for DWAC.
Greg was active in the Special Olympics. He loved to sing, play his guitar and ride his bike. Greg brought joy and hugs to everyone.
He is survived by his siblings, Gary (Arlene) Carlson, Horace, Ken (Tammy) Carlson, Sheridan, WY, Cindy (Wayne) Wateland, Fargo, David (Jeanne) Carlson, New Castle, CO, and Vicki (Karl) Moseng, Minot, ND; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Greg was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to family.
Visitation: Monday from 5 - 7 PM with a Prayer Service at 7 PM, Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead, MN.
Funeral: Tuesday, March 27, at 1 PM. Faith United Methodist Church, Fargo.
Burial: Horace Lutheran Cemetery, Horace.
