Gregory J. Jensen, 50, Moorhead, MN, died Saturday, January 28, 2006, in MeritCare Hospital, Fargo, ND.
Gregory Jon Jensen was born February 6, 1955, in Alexandria, MN, to Dean and Laurel (Gaarder) Jensen. Greg was raised in Alexandria where he attended Zion Lutheran Elementary School. He graduated from Alexandria High School in 1973. He had a love for flying and received his pilot's license before his driver's license.

Greg attended Concordia College, Moorhead, from 1973 - 1974. He attended and was later a counselor at the Concordia German Language Village near Alexandria. Greg transferred to NDSU, Fargo, ND, where he received a bachelor's degree in Agricultural Economics in 1977. He also completed one year of advanced studies at Minnesota State University, Moorhead.

Greg married Lola Hinsverk, September 18, 1987, in Dunvilla, MN, and they made their home in Moorhead. Greg worked for Minnesota Department of Transportation and then the Minnesota Highway Patrol as a Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Officer. He was also a self-employed general contractor most of his life. He owned and operated his own truck and was presently driving for Killoran Trucking of Buffalo, ND.
Greg is survived by his wife, Lola, Moorhead; son, Michael (fiancée, Christina), Dilworth, MN; daughters, Melissa Karau, and Jaimie Jensen, both Moorhead; three grandchildren, Devon, Shelby and Olivia Karau; mother, Laurel (Dave) Falconer, Alexandria; and a brother, Michael Jensen, Osakis, MN. He was preceded in death by his father and a son, Christopher "C.J." Karau.
Visitation: Thursday, February 2, 2006; 5 - 7 PM in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead.

Funeral: Friday, February 3, 2006; 1 PM
in Hope Lutheran Church, North Campus, Fargo.

Burial: North Buffalo Lutheran Cemetery, Kragnes, MN.
