Gregory A. Kappes, age 51, of Moorhead, MN, died Monday, November 26, 2012, in his home.
Gregory Allen Kappes was born November 20, 1961, in Fargo, ND, the son of Edward and Theresa (Ambuehl) Kappes. He was raised in Moorhead where he attended school. He worked various jobs before going to work for Gateway Construction for several years. Gregory loved the outdoors and enjoyed target shooting, hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his mother, Theresa Kappes of Moorhead; brothers, Gale Kappes, Gary Kappes and Glen (Kimberly) Kappes all of Moorhead, and Gerard Kappes of Apple Valley, MN; sister, Barbara Lee of Fargo; niece and nephews, Courtney Kappes, Zachary Kappes, Thomas (Denise) Lee, Benjamin (Kylee) Lee and Christopher (Frank Abrahamian) Lee; and great nephew and nieces, Camden, Julia and Alena.
He was preceded in death by his father, Edward and brother-in-law, Robert Lee.
Visitation: One hour prior to service.
Memorial Service: Tuesday, December 4, 2012, at 2:00 PM, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead.
Burial: St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Moorhead, MN.
