Harriett E. Perrin

Harriett Ethel Westlund was born January 19, 1927, in Lake Park, MN, to Henning and Emma (St. Claire) Westlund. She graduated from Moorhead (MN) High School in 1946.

Harriett married Dante "Dan" Perrin on June 17, 1949, in Moorhead, where they made their home and raised their four children. Dan passed away on August 23, 1998, after forty-nine years of marriage.

Harriett enjoyed traveling, camping, and fishing with Dan, family and friends. She was an active member of the Moorhead VFW and American Legion. She also enjoyed making silk flower arrangements, including bouquets, centerpieces and corsages for many of her dear family and friends.

Harriett died Tuesday, October 8, 2013, at Eventide on Eighth, Moorhead, at eighty-six years of age.

She is survived by her four children, Melinda Przepiora, Charlotte (Michael Glorvigen) Perrin, Curtis (Beth Grandbois) Perrin, and Ross (Sandy Wyland) Perrin; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Also many other family and friends that held a special place in her heart.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dan; parents; one sister, Delores Anderson; and four brothers, William, Duane, Delvin and Wayne Westlund.

Visitation will be Thursday, October 10, 2013, from 5 - 7 PM, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead. Her funeral will be Friday, October 11, 2013, at 11 AM, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Moorhead.
