Harvey D. Sukut

Harvey Sukut, age 79, Fargo, ND, died December 17, 2013, in Sanford Hospital, Fargo.

Harvey D. Sukut, the son of Lea and Aaron, was born in Wishek, ND, on June 11, 1934. He grew up in Wishek and in Bismarck, ND, where he graduated from high school. On October 7, 1955, he married Luella Haas in Bismarck.

For many years, Harvey worked for Plywood Minnesota stores in the Twin Cities and Fargo, where he was an excellent salesman. He later worked for five years at MeritCare, Fargo, and retired at the age of 62. In his free time, Harvey truly loved to fish. He was also a Minnesota Twins and Vikings fan.

Harvey is survived by his wife, Luella, Fargo; five children, Dennis (Dee Dee) Sukut, Wylie, TX, Rick (Lisa) Sukut, Billings, MT, Debbie (Tim) Dockter, Fargo, Scott (Brenda) Sukut, Fargo, and Melissa (Chris) Nielsen, Fargo; nine grandchildren, Travis (Shannon Fox) Sukut, Brandie (Justin) Logan, Emily & Joshua Dockter, Justin, Noah, & Maya Sukut, and Katie & Hannah Nielsen; four great-grandchildren. Tristan & Kitana Sukut and Kiara & Keelee Logan; and two sisters, Darlene Weisser & Jean Kraft. He was preceded in death by his parents; a granddaughter, Angela; and a brother, Arlyn.

Visitation: Friday, 5 PM until 8 PM, Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead. Funeral: Saturday, December 21, 2013, at 2 PM, in Calvary Church at Village Green, Moorhead.
