Helen Biesterfeld

Helen Marie Baron was born October 19, 1950, in Moorhead, MN, to Raymond and Violet (Wahl) Baron. She graduated from Fargo South High School in 1968.

Helen worked at Highway Host in Fargo, ND, where she met her husband, Donald Biesterfeld. They were married on July 3, 1970, and they made their home in Fargo. Helen worked at St. Luke's Hospital until the birth of their first child, Bradley. Their daughter, Christina, was born nineteen months later.

She obtained her realtors license in the early 1980s and worked for Century 21 and later for Amerland Realty. Helen worked for twenty years in the communications business, most recently in the office at F-M Forklift, Fargo, where her husband Don has also worked.

Helen died Wednesday, November 8, 2017, in Sanford West, Fargo, ND, at sixty-seven years of age.

She is survived by her husband of forty-seven years, Donald, Fargo; son, Bradley (Liane) Biesterfeld, Fargo; daughter, Christina (Justin) Stroh, West Fargo, ND; four grandchildren that were her pride and joy, Ashton, Brayden, Alyssa and Kayla; and many family and friends.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister and brother-in-law, Viola "Snookie" and Duane Langseth.

Visitation will be Sunday, November 12, 2017, from 5 - 7 PM, with a prayer service at 7 PM, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead.

Her funeral will be Monday, November 13, 2017, at 10 AM, in Triumph (West) Lutheran Brethren Church, West Fargo.
