Henry P. Danielson

Henry Peter Danielson was born March 23, 1923, to Peter and Borghild (Olson) Danielson, near Perley, MN, one of twin boys. Henry graduated from Borup (MN) High School in 1941.

Henry married Marie Stordahl, of Hendrum, MN, on June 7, 1947, at rural Hendrum. They lived and farmed near Perley and west of Borup, for twenty-four years. Henry also worked at American Crystal Sugar for thirty-nine years.

Henry was an avid fan of the Minnesota Twins and Minnesota Vikings.

In the presence of his loving family, Henry died peacefully Monday, February 6, 2012, at Sanford Health Palliative Care Unit, Fargo, ND, at eighty-eight years of age.

Henry is survived by his wife of sixty-four years, Marie, Moorhead, MN; three children, Kim (Susie) Danielson, Poplar Grove, IL, Galyn (Dr. Marvin) Ugland, Fargo, and Trona (Mark) Miller, Eden Prairie, MN; seven grandchildren, Bradley Johnson, Matthew Johnson, Carrie Gabrik, Candyce Miller, Clinton Miller, Tyler Danielson, and Bryce Danielson; nine great-grandchildren; and a sister, Phyllis Leiseth, Moorhead.

Henry was preceded in death by a son, Kelvin; two brothers and three sisters.

The funeral for Henry will be Friday, February 10, 2012, at 11 AM, in First Presbyterian Church, Moorhead.

Visitation will be at the church, one hour before the service.

Burial will be in Bethania Lutheran Cemetery, rural Perley, MN.
