Howard R. Wilson, 90, Dilworth, MN, died Monday, February 14, 2005, in Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Fargo, ND.
Howard Rudolph Wilson was born February 14, 1915, in Oriska, ND, to Charles and Barbara "Abby" (Courville) Wilson. Howard was raised and educated in Dilworth.
Howard entered the US Army on February 19, 1941, and served with the 39th Field Artillery Battalion in Africa, Sicily, and Italy. He was honorably discharged on August 10, 1945.
Howard was married to Jeanette Rugg on April 22, 1945, in Dilworth, where they made their home. Howard worked for Northern Pacific Railway and then Burlington Northern Railway, as an engineer, for forty-three years.
Howard enjoyed bowling and golfing, but he took special pride in his garden.
Howard is survived by his wife of fifty-nine years, Jeanette, Dilworth; son, Gary Wilson, Moorhead; daughter-in-law, Suzie Wilson, Dilworth; three grandchildren, Jason (Liane) Wilson, Glendale, AZ, Jeremy Wilson, Fargo, and Holli Wilson, West Fargo, ND; a
