Inez Eppler, age 85, of Fargo, ND, died Thursday, Dec. 22, 2005, at Elim Care Center in Fargo
Inez G. Sandeen was born Oct. 27, 1920 near Hawley, MN, where she grew up and attended school. On Feb. 5, 1946, she married Alvin Eppler, and they had three children, Gary, Cheryl and Ronald. They lived in Moorhead, MN, where she had many jobs. Her favorite one was at Concordia College, as supervisor of students in food service. She enjoyed all the students she got to know every year, with several returning to see her.
Alvin and Inez enjoyed being with their grandchildren, being outdoors and fishing. Her husband, Alvin, died on August 30, 1994. Inez moved into Elim Care Center in 1997, due to Alzheimer's.
Inez is survived by her daughter Cheryl "Cherie" and her husband, Roger, Jaeger, Fargo, ND; grandchildren, Jennifer (Eric) Muggli, Miles City, MT, Jeffrey Jaeger, Seattle, WA, Michelle Jaeger, Grand Forks, ND, and Angela Eppler, Richmond, VA; a sister, Violet Skarphol, Pelican Rapids, MN; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin, her sons, Gary and Ronald; sisters, Myrtle Haugen, Mabel Haugen and Pearl Kragerud; and brothers, Arnold Sandeen and Clayton Sandeen.
Visitation: Tuesday, from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead, and one hour before the funeral, at the church.
Funeral service: Wednesday, December 28, 2005, at 10:30 AM, in Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Moorhead.
Burial: Hawley Cemetery, Hawley, MN.
