Israel Frank Crabtree, Moorhead, MN, formerly of Georgetown, MN, died Saturday, June 6, 2009, at the age of 97, in Golden Living Center, Moorhead.
Israel Frank Crabtree, son the son James and Berenisce Crabtree, was born December 14, 1911. He grew up in Philbrook, MN.
Frank married Florence F. Schackle on March 15, 1940.
In 1952, they moved to Moorhead, later to West Fargo, ND, and then returned to Moorhead. Frank worked as a truck driver for Union Storage in Fargo, and for a number of years as a custodian in St. Luke's Hospital, Fargo. The couple later lived near Kragnes, MN, and in the mid-1960's moved to Georgetown, MN. In 2005, Frank became a resident of Golden Living Center, Moorhead.
Frank is survived by his wife, Florence, Moorhead; three daughters, Wanita (Gailon) Johnson, Fargo, ND, Barbara (Richard) Dahlstrom, Naples, FL, and Janet (Larry) Dugan, Moorhead; a son Frank (Betty) Crabtree, Georgetown; 11 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents; a son, James; and three grandchildren.
