James Duane "Jim" Antonson, 47, Moorhead, MN, died Friday, April 3, 2009, in Bridges Medical Center, Ada, MN, surrounded by the love of his wife and children.
Jim Antonson was born to Larry and Eunice Antonson on June 16, 1961, in Park Rapids, MN. He graduated from LaPorte High School in 1979. He worked for North Central Garage Door and Arrowhead Glass in Bemidji, MN. Jim moved to Fargo, ND, in 1983.
On June 22, 1984, he was united in marriage to Cindy Borgen at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Moorhead. Jim and Cindy made their home in Moorhead where Jim was employed for 23 years with Harmon Glass and then four years with Dakotaland Autoglass, Fargo.
In 1986 they were blessed with their daughter, Ginna, and in 1988 their son, Allen. Jim was very proud of his children. Jim enjoyed spending time with his wife and children, restoring cars, woodworking, traveling, and spending time at the lake.
Jim is survived by his wife, Cindy; daughter, Ginna (Josh) Nustad; son, Allen Antonson, all of Moorhead; faithful dogs, Monte and Lucky; his mother, Eunice Antonson, LaPorte, MN; two sisters, Deb (Dwight) Duhamel, Bemidji, MN, Cindy (Guy) Fenley, Akeley,
Jim was preceded in death by his father, Larry Antonson and niece, Kari Borgen.
Visitation: Monday, 5 PM to 7 PM, service at 7 PM,
Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead.
Funeral service: Tuesday, April 7, 2009, at 2 PM,
Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Moorhead.
