James Harry Johnson was born October 11, 1939, in Glen Lake, MN. James lived his younger years in California, Missouri, and Hopkins, MN, and his adult years in Dilworth, MN.
James had a passion for the open road that kept him rolling down the highway, as an over the road trucker, most of his life. James had a special relationship with his immediate family, particularly his grandchildren.
James died Wednesday, August 15, 2012, in Golden Living Center, Moorhead, at seventy-two years of age.
James is survived by his son, Jeffrey; daughters, Tamera, Amy, Jennifer, and Leah; stepdaughters, Lisa, Cindy, and Christie; stepsons, Bob, Jim, and Todd; brothers, George (Marilyn) and Larry (Sandy); and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
James was preceded in death by his wife of twenty-seven years, Beverly;
parents, George and Amy (Matchke) Johnson; brother, Lee Johnson; grandson, Dylan Clouse; and a great-grandson, Camren Kelly.
Memorial Service: Friday, August 17, 2012, at 11 AM, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead.
