James "Jim" Landphere, age 86, Moorhead, MN, passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2015, in Sanford Palliative Care, Fargo, ND.
James Logan Landphere was born May 19, 1929, in Minot, ND, the son of Edmund and Ethel Mae (Schomber) Landphere. On September 19, 1946, he married his eternal sweetheart, Joyce Emily Ramey, in Minot.
Jim is survived by his wife, Joyce; three children, Linda (Darvin) Lucas, Mitchell Landphere, and Cathy (Steven) Hahn; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Roy and Richard; and sister, Peggy.
A memorial service will be held in Jim's honor on Monday, July 27, 2015, at 11 AM, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead.
