James Sitta

James A. Sitta, 94, Dilworth, Minnesota, died Sunday, September 7, 2003, in Villa Maria, Fargo, ND.
James Anton Sitta was born October 9, 1908, to James and Barbara (Bidar) Sitta in Veseleyville, ND, where he was raised. Jim worked on area farms in his younger years and then worked with the Civilian Conservation Corps in Arkansas. He came to Fargo, ND, and attended barber school. Jim was married to Grace Schnathorst, January 7, 1939, in Fargo, where they made their home. They moved to Moorhead, MN, and Jim began working for Gamble's in 1959. They lived in Minneapolis, MN, for fourteen years and moved to Dilworth when he retired in 1974. Grace died July 3, 1989 and Jim continued to reside in Dilworth.
Jim is survived by eleven nieces and nephews: Judy (Roger) Mlcoch, Gloria (David) Solberg, Karl (Mary) Schnathorst, William Schnathorst, Robert (Chris) Schnathorst, Carol Laberge, Valerie (Steve) Larson, LaVonne (Ed) Nordgulen, Cynthia (Randy) Beckett, Elana (Rahn) Bergee and Stephanie Adams.
