Jane M. Lindgren

Jane M. Lindgren, age 94, of Moorhead, MN, died Monday, October 29, 2018, at Eventide on Eighth in Moorhead.
Jane Martha Erickson, the daughter of Peter and Hilda (Grinaker) Erickson, was born on September 14, 1924, in Kindred, ND. She grew up and received her education in Kindred, where she graduated from high school.
After graduating from high school, she married Donald B. Lindgren on September 1, 1943, in Oklahoma City, OK, before Donald left to serve his country during World War II in the US Army Air Corps. When Donald returned from World War II, they settled in Wolverton, MN, where they built their own house.
Jane was a wonderful, loving mother. She was known for her cooking and amazing Norwegian desserts around Christmas time. She and Don loved to dance and were known for parties in their home with friends and family. They also enjoyed camping, fishing, and travelling to McAllen, TX, in the winter. Jane lived a beautiful life and will be deeply missed by those she left behind.
Jane is survived by her son, Ronald (Aquilina), of Layton, UT; two daughters, Nancy (Lon) Likness, of Rockport, TX, and Lori Hanson, of Fargo, ND; three grandchildren, Stacey (Steven) Belka, Jeremy (Kimberlie) Likness, and Chelsey (Sam Perez) Hanson; and six great-grandchildren, Brandon Likness, Brynn Likness, Emma Perez, Maddison Hanson, Hunter Hanson, and Chase Bachmeier.
Jane was preceded in death by her loving husband, Donald; son-in-law, Larry Hanson; grandson, Jeff Hanson; and her eight older siblings.
There will be a visitation at 1:30 PM on Saturday, November 3, 2018, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, 409 8th Street South, Moorhead, followed by the funeral service at 2:30 PM. Interment will be at Salem Lutheran Cemetery, Wolverton, MN.
