Janice M. Hultman

Janice Marie Velure was born September 22, 1937, in Valley City, ND, to Arnold and Scilla (Boelter) Velure. She grew up on a farm near Hastings, ND. Janice was baptized, confirmed and attended school in Hastings.
In 1958, Janice graduated from St. Luke's School of Nursing, Fargo, ND. She worked as a RN at St. Ansgar Hospital, Moorhead, MN, and St. John's, and Dakota Heartland Hospitals, both Fargo, ND.
On October 3, 1959, Janice married Roger L. Hultman in Hastings, and they made their home in Fargo before settling in Moorhead. She retired from nursing in 1999.
Janice died on Sunday, August 7, 2005, in the MeritCare Palliative Care Unit, Fargo, after a long illness of cancer. She was sixty-seven.
Janice is survived by her husband, Roger, Moorhead; two sons, Robert (Karen), Oak Hill, WV, and Paul (Cricket), Nixa, MO; two grandchildren, Tess and Brock, both of Nixa; two sisters, Dianne (Bert) Pedersen, Kathryn, ND, and Marjorie (Jim) Demaree, Montevideo, MN; a brother-in-law, Don Kimball, Prescott, WI; and many neices and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Carol Kimball.
