Jason Blue

Jason William-Michael Blue, 32, of Moorhead, MN, died unexpectedly of a heart attack on Wednesday, August 22, 2018, at Sanford Medical Center in Fargo, ND.

Jason was born May 2, 1986, to Robert and Wendy (Rupprecht) Blue at St. Ansgar Hospital in Moorhead. He was baptized and confirmed at Our Savior's Lutheran Church. Jason grew up in Moorhead where he loved to play basketball and ice hockey and graduated from Moorhead High School, Class of 2004.

Jason was employed at Solid Comfort in Fargo, where he loved to work with his hands. He loved life and was never one to sweat the small stuff and was the type of person who could make friends anywhere he went. His passion for his children and racing, drove his desire to want to do better. He was working very hard toward his goals and was succeeding. His zest for life will be missed tremendously by his family and friends alike.

Jason is survived by his parents, Robert and Wendy, Moorhead, sister, Rachael, Fargo; children, Nevaeh (14), Quinn (12), and Leo (8), all of Moorhead; girlfriend, Tiffany, Fargo; grandmother, Ida Rupprecht; and aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, William Rupprecht; grandparents, Melvin and Margaret Olson; and aunt, Sharon Gatica.

A Gathering of Friends will be one hour prior to Jason's Celebration of Life Service at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, August 29, 2018, in Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Moorhead.
