Jason D. Hanson

Jason D. Hanson, 64, of Fargo, ND, passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, in Sanford Medial Center, Fargo.

Jason Dale Hanson was born on February 10, 1960, to James Hanson and Marlene Schulz, in Grand Forks, ND. Jason was raised in Fargo , and attended Fargo South High School, graduating in 1978. He attended a year in college, before going to work as a general laborer. He worked for various places including Techton. Jason had two sons and three stepchildren. He also took care of many cats over the years. Including feeding and caring for the feral cats in the area.

Jason was a quiet, introvert that kept to himself. Despite being an introvert, he enjoyed the time he spent with his friends. He was a big fan of sports, including football, and baseball. He also enjoyed listening to all kinds of music and watching his tv shows.

Jason is survived by his children, Collin Hanson, Amanda Marshall, Amber Tougas, Vanessa Wahl, and Kyle Hanson; his grandchildren, Mckenna, Kylee, Adele and Maxwell; sister, Gayleen Schulz; nephew, Nakota Shae Schulz; and ex-wife, Belinda Hanson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Hanson and Marlene Schulz.

Memorials preferred to P.A.W.S or Homeward Animal Shelter in Fargo. 

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, from 1:30-2:30 PM, with Jason’s Celebration of Life at 2:30PM, in Korsmo Funeral and Cremation Service, Moorhead, MN.
