Jean Lund

Jean Lund of Moorhead, MN, went to her eternal rest and peace on Wednesday, November 20, 2013, in Ecumen Evergreens in Moorhead, under the care of her loving family and Hospice of Red River Valley.

Jean Rosatti was born January 20, 1926, the daughter of Joseph E. and Beatrice (LeMere) Rosatti, in Fargo, ND. Jean married Alvie Lund and together, with love and pride, they raised their family of eight children in Moorhead.

Jean will be remembered by all who knew her for her kind, accepting nature, her easy laughter, her many creative gifts, her love of family, friends, sports, bulldogs and her "Italian" yellow VW Bug.

She is survived by her children, Jeff (Sherian), Dagne (Bill) Forbes, Lisa (Norm) Mark, Denise (Dan) Smith, Shelley (Phil) Gurbada, Albert, Eric, and Caren (Cary) Lyon; fifteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; brother, Robert "Bob" Rosatti; sister-in-law, Ellen Olson; nieces, Lois (Gary) Sater and Mary (Jeremy) Cahill; nephews, Robert (Sue) Olson, Greg Gronaas, John (Lucy) Rosatti, and Steven (Darcy) Gronaas.

Jean was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Alvie; sister, Bea Gronaas and her husband, Oscar; brother, Joseph "Buzz" Rosatti and his wife, Bert; sisters-in-law, Marion Rosatti and Phyllis Rosatti; brother-in-law, John Olson; nieces, Jane Hampson and Trissy Crenshaw; nephews, David Olson and John Gronaas; and daughter-in-law, Jane Lund.

Memorials may be directed to First Presbyterian Church of Moorhead or Hospice of the Red River Valley.

Memorial Service: Saturday, December 7, 2013, at 11:00 AM, in First Presbyterian Church of Moorhead.

Interment: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fargo.
