Jeanne M. Edenstrom

Jeanne Marian Edenstrom was born January 22, 1928, in Wolverton, MN, to Robert and Caroline "Lena" (Johnson) Edenstrom. Jeanne was raised in the Wolverton area where she graduated from high school.

Jeanne worked at Moorhead Daily News for three years and the Fargo Clinic. Jeanne worked in the business office at St. Luke's Hospital, Fargo, ND, for thirty-five years. She retired in 1993. After she retired from St. Luke's, Jeanne worked a short time for Food Services of America.

Jeanne moved to Eventide the Fairmont, Moorhead, MN, in October of 2005. She moved to Eventide Lutheran Home, Moorhead, in December of 2008, where she died Saturday, December 10, 2011, at eighty-three years of age.

Jeanne was a longtime active member of Bethel Evangelical Free Church, Fargo, where she volunteered many hours of service. She often commented a highlight of her life was a trip to Israel in 1994, with a group of friends from Bethel Church.

Jeanne is survived by her nieces and nephews, Deborah "Deb" (Glenn Olson) Clemenson, Fargo, Lonni (Dick) Beaton, Detroit Lakes, MN, Rick (Renaye) Clemenson, West Fargo, ND, Steve (Elaine) Clemenson, Durbin, ND, Gary Wilbur, Grand Blanc, MI, Ronald (Jeanne) Wilbur, New Braunfels, TX, and Sharon Larion, Flint, MI; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

In addition to her parents, Jeanne was preceded in death by a brother, Murrill Edenstrom; and two sisters, Lorraine Wilbur and Marilyn Clemenson.

The funeral for Jeanne will be Friday, December 16, 2011, at 1 PM, at Bethel Evangelical Free Church, Fargo.

Visitation will be at the church after 12 PM.

Burial will follow in Eagle Cemetery, Christine, ND.
