Jeffrey Snyder

Jeffrey Lee Snyder was born February 25, 1960, the son of James and Leota (Putney) Snyder, in Moorhead, MN. Jeff lived in Moorhead his entire life and will live in our hearts for eternity. Jeff went to school in Moorhead and graduated from Moorhead High. He then worked construction until he became disabled due to health reasons. He had been plagued by a number of ongoing health issues that eventually caused his death.

Jeff liked to be around people just to talk and listen, but mainly to be around people he liked. He liked to keep the chores of maintaining the house and yard completely done at all times and took great pride in his accomplishment. He was a gentle man that tried never to burden anyone with his many problems. His brother Joseph and family knew this and took care of his many needs.

Jeff was a very smart man who always believed that there were three ways to do things: the wrong way, the right way and Jeff's way, with the last two being the same. He loved to talk and kid around with many of the nieces and nephews who would always stop by to visit him along with many family members.

Jeffrey died Monday, December 9, 2013 alone at his home in Moorhead, at fifty-three years of age.

He is survived by his brother, James A. Snyder, Dilworth, MN, sister, Dianne S. (Henry) Nowak, Moorhead, brother, Joseph F. Snyder, Moorhead, brother, David E. (Nancy) Snyder, Detroit Lakes, MN, sister, Brenda N. Nelson, Moorhead, brother, Terrence M. Snyder, Moorhead, sister, Stephanie L. Snyder, Moorhead, and brother, Steven P. Snyder, Fargo, ND; and many nieces and nephews.

Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, James and Leota Snyder; his brother, Darrel W. Snyder; and his nephew, Adam J. Snyder.

Visitation for Jeffrey will be Tuesday, December 17, 2013, beginning at 10 AM, with a funeral at 11 AM, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Sabin, MN.
