Jeffrey Weik

Jeffrey K. Weik, 61, of Moorhead, MN, died Thursday, January 7, 2016.

Jeffrey Keith Weik was born June 7, 1954, the son of George and Effie (Lange) Weik, in Fergus Falls, MN. He grew up in Wolverton, MN, where attended grade school. In 1972, he graduated from Breckenridge (MN) High School.

On June 17, 1978, Jeff was united in marriage to LuAnn Emerson in Faith Lutheran Church, Wolverton. They made their home in Moorhead and to this union a daughter, DeAnn, was born. Over the years Jeff worked for Steiger Tractor, Nash Finch, ABM, and most recently Sanford Health.

Jeff enjoyed bow hunting, fishing, and just being outdoors. He also loved spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed by all.

He is survived by his wife, LuAnn; daughter, DeAnn (Brad) Miller, Fargo, ND; two precious
grandsons, Wyatt Dennis and Colton Jeffrey Miller; mother, Effie Weik, Fargo; brothers, Mike (Suzanne) Weik, Mentor, MN, and Tim Weik, Moorhead; sister, Roxanne (Dennis) Loock, Hawley, MN; brother-in-law, Randy (Jann) Emerson, Wolverton; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, George.

A Visitation for Jeffrey will be Tuesday from 5 PM until 7 PM, with a 6:30 PM Prayer Service in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead.

His Funeral Service will be Wednesday, January 13, 2016, at 11 AM, in The Lutheran Church of Christ the King, Moorhead.

Burial will take place in Salem Lutheran Cemetery, Wolverton.
