Jerome "Jerry" Edenborg, 74, Moorhead, MN, died of medical complications, Saturday, Dec. 8, 2007, in MeritCare Hospital, Fargo, ND.

Jerome A. Edenborg was born April 20, 1933, to Arthur and Violet Edenborg in Moorhead, where he was confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church and graduated from Moorhead High School in 1951. He was drafted into the US Army and served from 1953 to 1955, stationed at Fort Bragg, NC, where he completed radio school. After his discharge he returned to Moorhead and went to work at Kiefer Chevrolet in the parts department. In 1979 he began working for Norwest Bank in Moorhead as building engineer. He retired in 1996.
In 1959 Jerry married Beverly Kuehl and they had four children. Jerry enjoyed hunting at his yearly hunting spot at Tamarac Refuge with his boys and grandchildren. Other interests included guns and old cars. His life came full circle when he built their retirement home in 1997 on property that has been in his family since 1885. He enjoyed working in his garage workshop where he was always creating new woodworking projects. He also enjoyed repairing and refinishing antique furniture and other projects for family and friends.

He is lovingly survived by his wife, Beverly; four children, Doug (Cheryl), Mike (Angie), Penny (Todd) Yackley, all of Moorhead, and Sheila (Kraig) Johnson, Champlin, MN; seven grandchildren; and two sisters, Barbara Scott, Moorhead, and Marlys (Wayne) Gravning, Alburquerque, NM.


Visitation: Tuesday, from 4 PM until 7 PM,
Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead.


Funeral service: Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2007, at 11 AM,
Trinity Lutheran Church, Moorhead.


Burial: Riverside Cemetery, Moorhead.
