John G. Hurlburt

John Gregory Hurlburt was born October 29, 1947, in St. Paul, MN, to Vernon and Helen (Delfs) Hurlburt. The family made their home in White Bear Lake, MN.

John lived in Faribault, MN, and later in Fergus Falls, MN. He moved into the Fir Home in Fergus Falls in 1988. John worked for Productive Alternatives in Fergus Falls and after he retired, he enjoyed daily trips to Willows, in Fergus Falls.

John died Tuesday, September 11, 2018, in Lake Region Health Care, Fergus Falls, at seventy years of age.

John's family would like to extend their deep appreciation to the staff and caregivers that have cared for John all these years. Productive Alternatives, Willows, and Fir Home staff have been like family to John and it is greatly appreciated.

In addition to his caregivers, John is survived by his siblings, Vernon (Sandy) Hurlburt, Carthage, IL, Margaret (Ron) Hagemeister, Fargo, Mark (Karen) Hurlburt, Yankton, SD, Paul (Doreen) Hurlburt, Fargo, and Mary (Gene) Langevin, Fargo.

In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by a sister, Cathy.

Visitation for John will be from 12 PM to 2 PM, followed by a funeral mass at 2 PM, Wednesday, September 19, 2018, in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Moorhead.

Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, Moorhead.
