John L. Fernholz, 48, Fargo, ND, died Saturday, December 17, 2005, in his home.
John Louis Fernholz, son of William and Eunice (Matter) Fernholz, was born September 16, 1957, in Minneapolis, MN. He grew up and graduated from high school in Detroit Lakes, MN, and later from Moorhead State University (MN) with a degree in business administration.
John was united in marriage to Betsy Hotz, June 16, 1979, in St. Cloud, MN. The couple made their home in Moorhead. John worked in sales/management at American Linen, Honeywell, Thom Linen and Gates, Inc., all Fargo.
In addition to his wife, Betsy, John is survived by two sons, Nicholas, Rochester, MN, and Matthew, Moorhead; one daughter, Kristin, Moorhead; his father, Merlin Fernholz, Cottonwood, MN; three sisters, Suzanne (Ed) Willman, Cottonwood, Theresa (Ken) Nagel, Huntingtown, MD, and Mary (Randy) Johnson, Moorhead; and one brother, David (Lee) Fernholz, Colorado Springs, CO. John was preceded in death by his mother, Eunice Fernholz.
VISITATION: Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2005 - 4 PM to 6 PM, St. Joseph Catholic Church, Moorhead, with a prayer service at 6 PM.
FUNERAL MASS: Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2005 - 2 PM, St. Joseph Catholic Church, Moorhead.
INTERMENT: St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, Moorhead, MN.
