Joni Marie Carlson was born September 23, 1991, to Barry and Colleen Carlson. She grew up in the Moorhead, MN, area and graduated June 2010 from Moorhead High School. Joni was planning on attending Rasmussen College for a two year nursing program.
Although her life was short, Joni lived it to the fullest. She liked to decorate for all holidays and get togethers. She loved the outdoors, dancing, being around people, friends and family.
Joni passed away on Saturday, July 31, 2010, at the age of 18, in Saint Mary's Hospital, Rochester, MN, with her mom and dad by her side. Although she is in heaven with the angels, she will always be with us in our hearts and memories.
Joni will be greatly missed by her mom and dad; sister, Nikki Carlson; brother, BJ Carlson; nephew, Michael Aaron; and all her wonderful family and friends.
The Visitation will be on Wednesday from 5 - 7 PM with a Prayer Service at 7 PM in St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, Moorhead.
The Funeral Mass will be on Thursday, August 5, 2010 at 10 AM in St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church.
Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, Moorhead.
