Jose Flores

Jose Alejos Flores was born October 24, 1932, in Crystal City, TX, to Jose and Anita (Quintero) Flores. Jose lived and worked primarily in Washington state and the Moorhead, MN, area.
Jose was married to Jacinta Rivera on April 5, 1961, in Crystal City. They later renewed their vows at St. Joseph Catholic Church, in Moorhead, where they settled in 1967. Jose worked for farmers in the area and later for Northrup King.
Jacinta preceded Jose in death on April 23, 1995, and he continued to make his home in Moorhead. Jose died Thursday, May 13, 2010, at his home in Moorhead, at seventy-seven years of age.
Jose is survived by his son, Armando Flores, Moorhead; a daughter, Moraima (Patricio Gonzales) Flores, Moorhead; four grandchildren, Elena Flores, Inez Flores-Gonzales, Kira Flores and Elijah Flores; two brothers, Raul (Margarita) Flores and Humberto (Tomasa) Flores; and a sister, Viola (Raul) Luna.
Visitation for Jose will be Monday, May 17, 2010, from 5 - 7 PM, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead.
The funeral mass will be Tuesday, May 18, 2010, at 11 AM, in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Moorhead.
Burial will be in St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, Moorhead.
