Joyce D. Nesting, 71, Moorhead, MN, died Tuesday, September 7, 2004, in MeritCare Hospital, Fargo, ND.
Joyce Darlene Thompson was born March 11, 1933, to George and Clara (Larson) Thompson, in Moorhead where she grew up and graduated from high school in 1950. On September 30, 1955, she married Robert W. Nesting. They lived in Barney, ND, Lidgerwood, ND, and Moorhead. Joyce worked for Fargo Laundry/Leef Cleaners, Fargo, for more than twenty-eight years, and retired in 2000. She was a charter member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Moorhead.
Joyce is survived by three daughters, Sherry Marcellis (Tom), Manawa, WI, Vicki Nesting (Jim Glaes), Hahnville, LA, and Robin Nesting, Hawthorne, FL; two sisters, Marilyn Larson (Dale), Fargo, and Janet Johnson (Neal), Fresno, CA; three brothers, Dale Thompson (Gloria), Fargo, Terry Thompson (Sandy), Sumner, WA, and Richard Thompson (Kay), Phoenix, AZ; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
