Kathleen Lorentz

Kathleen Lorentz, age 67, formerly of Moorhead, MN, died Thursday, April 22, 2021, in Bethany on University, Fargo, ND.
Kathleen Renee Lorentz, the daughter of Joseph Lorentz and Mae Ruziska, was born in Moorhead, on October 30, 1953. She grew up and received her education in Moorhead. Kathy worked at a number of places, but best loved being the elevator operator at Block 6, Fargo. She lived in her own home in Moorhead and was a resident of Serenity Assisted Living in Dilworth, MN, from August of 2016, until moving to Bethany in August of 2020.
Kathy loved animals, especially dogs and lambs. She loved to shop and was faithful to her family and friends. She really loved music, especially country music, and she travelled to Nashville, TN, to attend the Grand Ole Opry.
Kathy is survived by her sister, Carol Jacob, Fargo, ND; and a niece, Tammie Jacob, also Fargo. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Jolene Lorentz, who died in 1993; and a brother, Michael Lorentz, who died in 1998.
Kathy's family sincerely appreciated the care provided to her by Bethany on University and by Ethos Hospice.
The funeral for Kathy will be Tuesday, April 27, at 10:30 AM, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Moorhead.
