Kathy Jan Doyle was born June 26, 1948, in Canyon, TX, to Lou and Margaret (MaGee) Doyle. She moved to Moorhead, MN, from Texas, in 1978.
Kathy was known for her southern accent, unique sense of humor and love of animals. Notably, she most recently was known for talking to any and everyone about her granddaughter. She truly embraced her role as a grandmother with passion and joy.
Kathy had a special quality to connect with people of all walks of life. She was kind, compassionate and offered many individuals a sympathetic ear. Kathy was a friend to people and animals alike.
Kathy died Thursday, August 19, 2010, in her home in Moorhead, at sixty-two years of age.
Kathy is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Heather and Tim Meyer; granddaughter, Kieran Meyer; and her sisters, Terri Schroeder and Lyn Rowland.
Memorial may be sent to FM Humane Society, 1201 28th Avenue North, Fargo, ND 58102.
There will be a Gathering of Friends Saturday, October 9, 2010, from 5 - 7 PM, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead.
