Kelly Peterson

Kelly Duane Peterson was born October 10, 1962, in Moorhead, MN, where he grew up. As a young man he also lived in Dilworth, MN. He received his chef training at Moorhead State Vocational and Technical College.

Kelly lived in Moorhead, and worked for Cullen Insulation, as an insulation installer.

Kelly enjoyed people and loved spending time with family and friends. He was well known as a good cook. He enjoyed movies and had a collection of more than 500 DVD's, especially horror and sci fi movies. Kelly enjoyed going to the lake and fishing. He will be remembered for his kindness to family and to others.

Kelly died at his home in Moorhead, on August 16, 2017. He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda, who died in 2015, and a son, Jake, who died in January of 2017.

Kelly is survived by his sons, Josh and Jordan Peterson; his father, Albert "Butch" Peterson; sisters, Missy (Russ) Thacher and Ashley Peterson; and brothers, Brent (Michele) Peterson, Craig
(Lonnie) Peterson, and Jeff Peterson.

A memorial service for Kelly will be held on Friday, August 25, 2017, at 1 PM in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead.
