Kendra Joan Charon was born on October 3, 1968, to Larry and Doris (Fossum) Charon, in Anoka, MN. Kendra went to school in Cooperstown, ND, and graduated from high school in 1987. After high school Kendra moved to Fargo. It was in Fargo that she met the love of her life, Randy Ball. Kendra and Randy were united in marriage on June 19, 1994 and made their home in Fargo. On November 4, 1996, they welcomed their daughter Ciera into their lives. Kendra strived to help Ciera become the best that she could be despite all the challenges she was faced being diagnosed with autism.
As a kid, Kendra had an interest in music and playing instruments. This turned in to Kendra's passion for singing. She enjoyed singing around the Fargo/Moorhead area as well as competing in competitions and joining her dad in his performances. Kendra enjoyed singing karaoke, which is what lead her to meeting Randy. It also led her to the opportunity of appearing on the Caroline Rhea Show on national TV. Kendra had a love for singing and music, but nothing compared to the love she had for her family. She was a devoted wife and mom. Kendra enjoyed hosting family gatherings for the holidays and was an outstanding cook.
Kendra is survived by her husband, Randy; daughter, Ciera; parents, Larry and Doris Charon; brother, Kelly; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Kendra will be from 5-7PM on Wednesday, August 11, 2021, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead, MN, followed by a prayer service at 7 PM. The memorial service will be at 11 AM on Thursday August 12, 2021, in First Lutheran Church, Fargo.
