Kenneth R. Johnson

Kenneth R. Johnson, 53, of Fargo, ND, died Sunday, May 21, 2017, in his home.

Kenneth Roger Johnson was born September 22, 1963, the son of Roger E. and Barbara L. (Miller) Johnson, in Moorhead, MN. He was raised in Fargo where he graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School. Upon graduation, he worked at various jobs until he went to work with his father, Roger, at The Johnson Company. After his father retired in 1998, Ken continued to operate the company, spending a total of 27 years with the company.

On June 29, 2012, he was united in marriage to Linda (Orud) Johnson in Fargo. They made their home in North Fargo and in early 2014, Ken began working at Sanford Health as a courier.
Ken enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, and the Minnesota Vikings. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and cranking AC/DC.

He is survived by his wife, Linda; daughter, Crystal Johnson, Moorhead; granddaughters, Kayleigh and Lilliana; parents, Roger and Barbara, Fargo; sisters, Kris (Dean) Mertz, West Fargo, ND, and Kim (Jim) Patterson, Fargo; brothers-in-law, Randy Orud, Wolverton, MN, and Ron (Ginny) Orud, Muscatine, IA; sister-in-law, Carol (Robert) Pogreba, Campbell, MN; his boys, Max and Charlie; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

A Gathering of Friends for Kenneth will be Thursday, May 25, 2017, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM with at 7 PM Remembrance Service in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead.
