Kristeen C. Ferris, 67, Moorhead, MN, died Sunday, June 6, 2010, in MeritCare Palliative Care, Fargo, ND.
Kristeen Carolyn Evenmo was born May 25, 1943, in Fosston, MN, to Leonard and Clara (Jensen) Evenmo. She graduated from McIntosh High School and attended Moorhead State College as an art major.
Kristeen married Albert Lee Ferris, and they had two children, Jeff and Kade. She lived with her family in San Antonio, TX, before moving back to Moorhead. Through the years, Kristeen was self-employed in silk-screen printing. She was a talented artist and photographer.
Kristeen is survived by her sons, Jeff and Kade; a brother, Bob; sisters, Marlys (Reggie) Silbaugh, Edith (Steven) Tschider, and Joyce (Denis) Boulet; a special friend, Walter Selberg; as well as five grandsons and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father; mother; stepfather; and brother, Lovern.
Visitation: Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 AM in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead.
Funeral: Monday, June 14, 2010, at 10:30 AM in Korsmo Funeral Chapel.
Burial: Riverside Cemetery, Moorhead.
