LaDonne F. Steinkopf

LaDonne Fay Pixley, the daughter of Charles and Vivian (Sandie) Pixley, was born in Fargo, ND, on June 9, 1948. She grew up and received her education in Moorhead, MN, where she graduated from high school and attended Moorhead Technical Institute.

On June 16, 1972, LaDonne married Bernard Steinkopf. They lived in Moorhead, Barnesville, MN, and in Brooks, MN. In July of 2000, LaDonne returned to Moorhead. She worked as a cook at Villa Maria and Elim Care Center, both Fargo.

LaDonne died at Innovis Health in Fargo, on Sunday, May 3, 2009, at the age of 60.
LaDonne enjoyed cross-stitching, sewing, gardening and caring for her grandchildren.
She is survived by a son, Nathan (Cindy) Steinkopf, Dilworth, MN; a daughter, Michelle (Paul) Bannerman, Moorhead; five grandchildren, Ethan and Kianna Bannerman and Alexis, Danica and Brandon Steinkopf; and a brother, LeRoy (Theresa) Pixley, Moorhead.
Memorial service: Friday, May 8, 2009, at 11 AM, in Grace United Methodist Church, Moorhead.
