Larry P. Linson, 49, Fargo, ND, died Wednesday, August 3, 2005 in MeritCare Hospital, Fargo, after a long illness.
Larry Paul Linson, son of William and Clara (Knudson) Linson, was born on October 19, 1955, in Rugby, ND. Larry grew up in Rolette, ND, and graduated from Rolette High School in 1973. On June 12, 1976, he married Patricia K. Anderson in Bottineau, ND. He graduated from North Dakota State University in 1978 as a registered pharmacist. He worked in several Fargo locations as a pharmacist until 1992 when he opened Linson Pharmacy.
He is survived by his wife, Patty; two children, Paul (Kristin) and granddaughter Anabelle, Fargo, and Jennifer (Mat) Finley, Bloomington, MN; his mother Clara, Rolette; his sister, Lucretia (Ray) Grudem, Minot, ND; two brothers William, Moorhead, MN, and Gary, Rolette; and nieces and nephews. Larry was preceded in death by his father, William Linson.
Larry endured nearly 33 years with Lupus. Despite his health struggles, he never complained. His love for the Lord and his family were unwavering. His godly spirit, generosity, and compassion affected the lives of many. Larry leaves a legacy in the hearts of all who knew him. A scholarship will be established to NDSU College of Pharmacy in Larry's memory.
Visitation: Sunday, August 7, 2005, from 5-7 pm, with a prayer service at 7 PM, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead.
Funeral Service: Monday, August 8, 2005, at 10:30am, in Triumph Lutheran Brethren Church, Moorhead, followed by a lunch and time of fellowship.
Burial: Tuesday, August 9 at 11:00am at Rolette Cemetery, Rolette, followed by a lunch and time of fellowship in Valle Lutheran Church, Rolette.
