Lenore P. Lotton, 94, died Thursday, August 25, 2011, in Union Hospital, Mayville, ND.
Lenore P. Thompson, the daughter of Ole and Hilma (Bjerke) Thompson, was born July 3, 1917, in Clifford, ND, where she grew up and received her education. She graduated from high school in Clifford.
On May 8, 1937, Lenore married Ivan "Bud" Lotton, in Hillsboro, ND. They first lived in Vandalia, MO. In 1947, they moved to Moorhead, MN. Lenore worked as a salesclerk for many years in Neubrath's Jewelry in Moorhead. She and Bud enjoyed golfing together at the Hawley (MN) Country Club.
Her husband, Bud, died June 13, 1986. After his death, Lenore continued to live in Moorhead. For the past year she had been a resident of Eventide Assisted Living, Moorhead. She recently moved to Luther Memorial Home, Mayville.
Lenore is survived by a niece, Janice (Duane) Anderson, Hope, ND; two nephews, Robert (Deb) Schmidt, Punta Gorda, Florida, and Bill (Rita) Schmidt, Fargo, ND; and a stepdaughter, Arliene Tate, St. Louis, MO. In addition to her husband and her parents, Lenore was preceded in death by two brothers, Howard and Orville Thompson; and a sister, Gladys Schmidt.

Burial: Tuesday, 2 PM, Clifford Cemetery, Clifford, ND.
