Leo Gall was born September 22, 1922, in Logan County, ND, to Edward and Pauline (Stockburger) Gall. Leo was raised in that area and graduated from high school in Burnstad, ND.
Leo was united in marriage to Bella Gilbertson on July 6, 1947, in Pelican Rapids, MN, and they made their home in Wishek, ND, and later in Pelican Rapids.
Leo worked in the insurance industry most of his life. He was a Field Rating Representative for Insurance Services Office, Minneapolis, MN. They moved to Moorhead, MN, in 1952. Leo retired in 1982, and they continued to make their home in Moorhead.
Leo and Bella moved to Eventide, Linden Tree Circle, Moorhead, in 2008, and Bella died January 14, 2011. Leo recently moved to Whispering Pines Care Center, Andover, MN, to be closer to his family. Leo died Friday, October 5, 2012, at Whispering Pines, at ninety years of age.
Leo is survived by his son, Michael (Judy), Coon Rapids, MN; two grandchildren, Anne Gall, Minneapolis, MN, and Adam (Tiffany) Gall, and their children, Carter and Peyton, Robinsdale, MN
The funeral for Leo will be Sunday, October 14, 2012, at 2 PM, in First Congregational United Church of Christ, Moorhead.
Visitation will be at the church one hour before the funeral.
Burial will follow in Moorhead Memorial Gardens.
