LeRoy Justin Joseph Mazeikis was born May 14, 1943, in Chicago, IL, to Stanley and Noreen (Doll) Mazeikis. LeRoy was raised in Chicago where he received his education.
LeRoy married Dolores Ponce on May 29, 1965, in Chicago, where they continued to make their home. LeRoy worked for Boise Cascade, as a shipping clerk, for many years in the Chicago area.
They moved to Moorhead, MN, in 1996, to be closer to their family. LeRoy died Saturday, April 7, 2012, in Sanford Health Palliative Care Unit, Fargo, ND, at sixty-eight years of age.
LeRoy is survived by his wife, Dolores, Moorhead; two daughters, Cynthia (Randy) Carrillo, Moorhead, and Carolyn (Randy) Fiechtner, West Fargo, ND; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one sister, Rose (Rudy) Morales, Chicago; and four brothers, Roger (Cathy), Appleton, WI, Kenneth (Susan), Chicago, Stanley, Michigan, and Thomas (Carol), Holland, MI.
LeRoy was preceded in death by his parents, and a daughter, Cheryl Marie, in June of 2003.
The funeral will be Thursday, April 12, 2012, at 2 PM, in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Moorhead.
Visitation will be at the church after 1 PM.
Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, Moorhead.
