Levina A. Albrecht White, was born July 22, 1922, to Edwin and Alma Albrecht in Barnesville, MN. She attended Barnesville High School. Levina then moved to Illinois in 1941 and worked in several wartime factories. She met Charles White in Elgin, IL, and they were married October 24, 1943.
Levina and Charles moved to St. Paul, MN, in 1945, and she worked in the courthouse and the State office building. They moved to Moorhead, MN, in 1961. She was an active member of her church.
Levina died Sunday, May 6, 2012, at Sanford Health Palliative Care Unit, Fargo, ND. She was 89 years old.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Chuck; her grandson, Clay; a brother, Roland; and a sister, Evelyn. She is survived by her daughter, Debra White Vannet; her son-in-law, James Vannet; her granddaughter, Calie Vannet; her sister, Lola Moldenhauer; and several nieces and nephews.
