Linda Peterson

Linda M. Peterson, 71, of Dilworth, MN, died Wednesday, February 4, 2015, in her home.

Linda Mary Riebe was born May 31, 1943, the daughter of Julius and Gertrude (Monder) Riebe, in Detroit Lakes, MN. She was raised in Frazee, MN, and graduated from Frazee High School in 1961. She then moved to Dilworth where she raised her five children.

She enjoyed computer games, fishing, going to the casino and shopping at Walmart. Linda loved the lakes where she made many memories with her family. Her greatest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Linda is survived by her life partner, Roger Anderson, Dilworth; children, Kelly Peterson, Moorhead, MN, Jeff (Brenda Sundby) Peterson, Dent, MN, Brent (Michele) Peterson, Richmond, MN, Craig (Lonnie) Peterson, Moorhead, Missy (Russ) Thacher, Grand Forks Air Force Base, ND; twenty grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; stepchildren, Mike (Sandy) Anderson, Walcott, ND, and Theresa (Tim Owen) Noble, Glendale, AZ; sister, Grace Blaine, Frazee; brother, Rod (Shirley) Riebe, Frazee; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Jerry Riebe; sisters, Marge Niess, Helen Jensen, and LaVerne Bergren; and grandchildren, Jordan and Lexi Peterson.

A Visitation for Linda will be Monday from 5 PM until 7 PM, with a 6:30 PM Prayer Service in Dilworth Lutheran Church, Dilworth.

Her Funeral Service will be Tuesday, February 10, 2015, at 2:00 PM in Dilworth Lutheran Church.
