Lonnie J. Hendrickson

Lonnie Jay Hendrickson was born April 26, 1963, in Moorhead, MN, to Jerome and Kathie (Hughes) Hendrickson. He passed away, Monday, October 28, 2013, to enter into a peaceful place at the hands of our Savior Jesus. Lonnie had suffered and is now free of the painful effects of his diabetes and many health problems from which he suffered.

Lonnie attended grade school at St. Anthony School in Fargo, ND. He worked for Swanson Construction, Fargo, and also worked and lived in Alaska. He loved fishing, especially while in Alaska. His last job was at The Pallet Company, Fargo, until he was unable to work anymore.

Lonnie's best friend was his Black Lab, "Bear". He loved that dog, almost as much as he did his family. Lonnie enjoyed being outdoors, especially at the lake and family gatherings.

Lonnie is survived by his twin daughters, April Joy Ray-Hendrickson (Ryan Graves), and Amber Jean (Tyson) Mattson; son, Dillon Jay Cole; two grandsons, Julian Graves and Lucas Mattson; mother and stepfather, Kathie (Dale) Jenson; sister, Leah Rae Hendrickson; brother, Rory Allan Hendrickson; sister, Heather Lyn (Darren) Moen; grandmother, Dorothy Hughes; and many nieces and nephews.

Lonnie was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Hendrickson; brother, Todd Allen Hendrickson; niece, Faith Lea Hendrickson; and grandparents, Daniel Hughes, Edward "Ed" Hendrickson, and Elizabeth (Stanley) Johnson.

Visitation will be Friday, November 1, 2013, from 5 - 7 PM, followed by a funeral at 7 PM, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead.
