Lorraine A. Halvorson, 78, Moorhead, MN, formerly of Minot, ND, died Wednesday, March 15, 2006, in Manorcare Health Services, Fargo, ND.
Lorraine Adealia Daniell was born July 1, 1927, in Van Hook, ND. She was raised in Van Hook where she attended school and the family later moved to Minot. Lorraine married Gilmore "Happy" Halvorson, in 1948, in Minot. She owned and operated Lorraine's Beauty Bar, in Minot.
Lorraine and Happy moved to Las Vegas, NV, in 1995 and he died in 2004. She and her daughter moved to Moorhead, in 2005, to be closer to her granddaughter and great-grandchildren.
Lorraine is survived by her daughter, Michelle Edwdards, Moorhead; one granddaughter, Nicole (Jon); and two great-grandchildren, Dustin and Taylor.
Private family services have been held.
