Lorraine Haaland was born January 27, 1921, in Perley, MN. She married Lawrence Smutzler on June 24, 1938, in Rugby, ND. Lorraine worked for Kendall's, Tempo, EMasons, all in Moorhead.
Lorraine is survived by her daughter, Kylene (John) Milligan, West Fargo, ND; three grandchildren, Tyna (Darrel) Carr, Rochert, MN, Troy (Ann) Oanes, Moorhead, and Todd Oanes, Battle Lake, MN; a stepgrandchild, Patricia (Bill) Sheffield, Council Bluff, IA; and seven great-grandchildren, Kari, Amanda, Grete, Andrew, Nicole, Dakota and Amber Ann.
Lorraine was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence; a daughter, Jackie Oanes; a son, Don Smutzler; and a stepgrandson, Matthew Milligan-Olson.
