Louise Haas

Louise A. Sitch, daughter of Jack and Anna Sitch, was born in Butte, ND, on July 22, 1929. She graduated from high school in Butte, and then moved to Turtle Lake. In 1951, she married Vergil Haas. They lived in Turtle Lake, where they raised their four daughters. Vergil died in 1994.
In 2007, Louise moved to Fargo, where she had lived since.

Louise died Tuesday, October 29, 2013, in Bethany on University, Fargo, at the age of 84. She had a servant spirit, and always put the needs of others ahead of her own. Her family expresses their thanks to the wonderful caregivers of Bethany on University and the staff of Hospice of the Red River Valley, for their kindness and care.

Louise is survived by daughters, Cherie (Leroy) Anderson, Fargo, Cynthia (Donald) Hoffert, Plymouth, MN, Rondi Haas, Roseville, MN, and Kathryn (Mike) Midgette, Minot, ND; grandchildren, Aaron (Bethany) Hoffert, Thomas (Kari) Anderson, Jenny (Jonathan) Moe and Emily (Richard) Daniels; brother, David (Jan) Sitch; ten great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Dick Broschat; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Vergil, Louise was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Irene Zakopyko; brother, Rollie Sitch; and sister-in-law, Edie Broschat.

Visitation: Friday, Nov. 1, 2013, from 2 PM until 4 PM, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead, MN.

Additional visitation will be Saturday, from 1 PM until 2 PM in Turtle Lake Baptist Church, Turtle Lake.

Funeral: Saturday, Nov. 2, 2013, at 2 PM in Turtle Lake Baptist Church, Turtle Lake.
Burial: Turtle Lake Cemetery.
