Louise Rutheld Lee was born December 8, 1933, in Minneapolis, MN, to Joseph and Rutheld (Hanson) Anderson. Louise spent her youth in Minneapolis where she received her education.
She graduated from Patrick Henry High School and then attended The University of Minnesota. She became a dental assistant and worked for the same dentist in downtown Minneapolis in her younger years.
Louise was united in marriage to Kenneth A. Lee, on June 22, 1957, in Minneapolis, MN. She followed Ken in death, who passed away in May of this year.
Her survivors include her children, Philip (Eloise) Lee, and Susan (Boyd) Hand; grandchildren, Rachel (Tan) Cao. Aaron (Mallory) Lee, James Hand, and Elizabeth (Ben) Hand; great-grandchildren, Jemi McCleary, Drew Cao, and Gwendolyn Cao; and a sister-in-law, Annabelle (Dwaine) Olson.
Louise died Saturday, October 19, 2024, at Fargo Elim, at ninety years of age.
Louise had many friends in Moorhead and loved going to her church for fellowship with her friends. She had many friends in town and enjoyed visiting them. She worked at Moorhead State Bank, Dakota Clinic, and The Stabo at West Acres mall. Louise volunteered at church and was always there to lend a helping hand.
She loved traveling and went on many trips to California and Washington to visit her children and grandchildren. Louise and Ken also went on cruises to the Caribbean and Alaska and took many trips to visit family in Minneapolis and Dallas. She spent every summer on Pelican Lake where she enjoyed gardening, boating, swimming, going to gift shops and eating out.
Visitation for Louise will begin at 10 AM, followed by a memorial service at 11 AM, Tuesday, November 12, 2024, in Lutheran Church of the Good Shepard, Moorhead.
