Lucille A. Taylor, age 83, of Moorhead, MN, died Monday, September 20, 2010, in Hospice House, Fergus Falls, MN.
Lucille Agnes Booke, the daughter of William and Suzanne (Marcotte) Booke, was born in Dickinson, ND, on January 22, 1927. She grew up in Gladstone, ND, and in Dickinson. Lucille graduated from high school in Dickinson and attended college at Dickinson State University.
On June 20, 1949, Lucille married Robert "Bob" Taylor in St. Patrick Catholic Church, Dickinson. They made their home in Beach, ND, and Rugby, ND, before moving to Fargo, ND, in 1953. In 1955, they built a home in Moorhead, where they had lived since. For the past 11 winters, Bob and Lucille have wintered in Mesa, AZ.
Lucille is survived by her husband, Bob, Moorhead; six children, Debra (David) Greenagel, Parker, CO, Tom Taylor, Jeffrey (Laura) Taylor, Sevierville, TN, Cindy (Maurice) Skogen, Fergus Falls, Renee (David) Bowen, Loveland, CO, and Penny Taylor, Aurora, CO; three sisters, Delores (Harold) Powers, Bloomington, MN, Evelyn Engel, Billings, MT, and Joanie Brown, Minneapolis, MN; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Lucille was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Maurice Booke; a sister, Shirleen Thompson; and a granddaughter, Sarah Bowen.
Memorials preferred to Roger Maris Cancer Center or the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
